With an innate talent for woodworking, Keith Schoenenberger began honing his woodworking skills in high school shop class. As a Junior, he paired 2 separate lathes to turn one piece bed posts for a 4-poster queen size bed. He took top honors at the art show, and awed not only the judges of the competition but the entire faculty and student body.
Keith then spent the next 10 years learning the craftsmanship of precision by becoming a machinist in local machine shops. CNC machine operation, critical calculations and calibrations were daily functions of Keith’s responsibilities, but his passion remained in woodworking. In July of 1988, he took that leap of faith hand carving his first business sign and began Creative Wood Designs.
We have been dedicated to building the best quality cabinetry for our clients and continue to build a tradition of long lasting craftsmanship and mastering time-tested building practices. We are committed to building long time customer relationships by providing this expected exceptional quality and service.
To further this objective, in 2005, Creative Wood Designs launched a carved sign division, Creative Carved Signs. Our attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship carries from the cabinetry side of the house into each and every sign produced.
